TRANS DANUBE SWIM 2026
The 13th edition of the Trans Danube Swim was another record-breaker. A total of 4,029 swimmers from 17 countries took the plunge together in the heart of Bratislava. At the starting line, we joined city officials and representatives of Slovakia’s most popular sports to sign the Swimmable Cities Charter. And for the first time, the finish line moved to Sad Janka Kráľa. We have big plans for the Danube. Stay tuned for what’s next.

JOIN THE SWIMMERS
Do you know what makes Bratislava unique? It has the Danube, a river that also flows through Vienna and Budapest, but neither of these cities has the Trans Danube Swim. The unique event of joint swimming across the Danube has been bringing our beautiful river closer to all Bratislava residents and visitors for 11 years. Join the swimmers who have been entering the waters of this beautiful river on the first Sunday in September since 2014.
